Mad Scientist

Adding a little "blood" to the "brain sludge"

What will happen if I add this "magic" powder

and a little powdered sugar

Cameron is our little scientist...always wanting to combine things to see what will happen! We bought him a science kit for Christmas and he was thrilled!! We made "brain sludge" (above) and before that Cameron made some glow-in-the-dark goo that we covered our hands with-we spent a good amount of time in the bathroom watching our hands glow! Fun, Fun!

SO proud!

Here's what happens when your boys find markers and discover their parents are not in sight...they were very proud of their beards and the "tattoos" that covered their legs!!!! Bryant was not very happy and neither was I, but they were so pleased with themselves that I couldn't help but take a picture! The markers were washable, but I still had to SCRUB until the bathwater was BLUE! What did we do for entertainment before we had these two mischievous boys??!!

Happy Birthday, Lucy!

Ready to dig in!
Ready, Set, Blow!
Is it time for cake yet?The Sharpe crew!
We headed to Starbuck to celebrate Lucy's 2nd birthday and got a chance to do our now annual sledding race... Bryant was the big winner this year! Lucy was as cute as ever and had prepped for our arrival by putting stuffed animals and blankies on our beds. The boys were delighted to hang out with her and to sled, see the horses, and play, play, play! Fun was had by all and we continue to be amazed at how quick these little ones grow...before we know it they'll all be teenagers!

Birthday Morning!

Cooper requested blueberry pancakes with sprinkles for breakfast.
Showing me his THREE fingers!
Playing with his new grocery store set-up...for some reason Bryant and I ended up with a lot more money then we started with when shopping at Coop's store! Good deals!

Setting up the store
Cameron helping Coop to read what was on his package.

After the festivities yesterday we were much more low-key today. Slow morning with breakfast and play, watched the movie, UP (Cam gave it to Coop), and then played some more. Later on we took in a matinee of Alvin and the Chipmunks-The Squeakquel...the boys enjoyed it. After that it was rest/nap time, boys woke up and we played with their new Playmobil Pet Clinic for quite sometime, watched half of UP again, and then our big 3 year old and his big brother were off to bed. A fun weekend!

Cooper's 3rd Birthday

All smiles and ready to eat candy, candy, candy!

He was coming off a major "sugar high" at this point...having "helped" add candy to the train.
Cooper's party day turned out to be an ice storm, so the grandparents, Uncle Andy, Auntie Shannon, and Lucy weren't able to join us for the celebration. We were very bummed, but understand that safety comes first! We'll get to celebrate with the Sharpe side next weekend for Lucy's 2nd birthday. Auntie Nikki, Uncle Troy, Auntie Julie, Serena, and Evan were able to come for the festivities and we had a great time. Cooper is a HUGE fan of the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie, so in honor of the flick we had spaghetti and meatballs, salad, and breadsticks for lunch. We finished it all off with LOTS of candies, cake, and ice cream-YUM!Happy Birthday to our dear, sweet Cooper! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Christmas 2009

Snuggling and reading with PaPa Guy

Grandma Diane getting her smooches and hugs in!

My little hunters/campers...the cot, sleeping bags Santa brought for the boys were a big hit. The boys set Cam's room up with a lantern, bow and arrows, nerf and pop guns, and water... all set for big bucks and grizzly bears! They would still be sleeping in them if I hadn't finally put them away.

Our Tree

Heading out for the tree...

Cam is so happy to be outside and ready to find the BEST Christmas tree!

We found it!

Me and my boys...it's not often that there is a picture of me and the little guys!

Coop loving the hayride to bring our tree back to our truck.
The finished product!

We decided that this year's tree is our best yet! There is nothing like a beautiful, sparkling tree to get you in the holiday mood!

Santa

Cam and Santa

Coop checking out Santa from a SAFE distance

We went to Cameron's school for the annual holiday event to make cookies, crafts, play games, and of course see Santa. Cameron has our "no fear" boy and has always been more than willing to run up to Santa, jump on his lap, and tell him about all the things he wants for Christmas. Cooper, on the other hand, is a little more tentative and was happy to SEE Santa, but did not want to sit on his lap. At one point, Cooper thought I was going to put him on Santa's lap and he let out a blood curdling scream that was heard all over the school. After that it was all about seeing, but definitly not touching!
