My college buddy, Jessica and her son Ethan came to visit for a couple of days. Our hubbys were both in golf tournaments, so we decided it would be great to entertain each other while they were away. We spent Friday morning at the splash pad in Sauk Rapids, grabbed lunch, and then headed into St. Cloud to test out the polar bear pool. After that it was time for ALL of us to nap before the babysitter came...yes, Jess and I did get some adult time in-which was lovely! Saturday we headed to Cedar Lake in Upsala to spend time at the beach which was nice but a bit windy. We headed home to relax and play outside and then Jess and Ethan headed out in the evening. We had so much fun and having Jess here to help me was a lifesaver! It was so nice to have a helping hand...I truly don't know how single parents do it-I give them my highest regards! The boys all played well together and Cam is still talking about Ethan and when we'll be heading to visit him. I'm so lucky to have such a good friend and so happy we could spend time together!
