So, Bryant and I finally got a chance to head out for a REAL date. We started the evening at Ciatti's in St. Cloud. Ciatti's closed downtown and re-opened on Division in the past year. The food was fabulous, the drinks were going down great, and my hubby and I were able to have adult conversation until...our babysitter called us upset and crying explaining that Cameron had broken one of his glow sticks and decided to taste test the liquid inside and now his throat was hurting him. Yes, that's our kid-doing exactly what I told him the night before NOT to do! Due to the fact that we weren't sure about glow sticks and whether they were a safe treat we rushed out of Ciatti's in the middle of dinner and drinks (yes, we still remembered to pay!) and ran to the car at the same time calling the clinic hotline who referred us to poison control. What did we find?? Glow sticks are NOT toxic and will only irritate the throat, so take a drink and you'll be fine. This could be important information for future reference since we have another curious little dude in our house! After getting home and calming our babysitter Cameron seemed pleased to see us until he realized we were not to happy about what he had done...thank goodness he was alright, but our poor sitter was shaken. Thus, ended our date!

Scary! Good to know they are pretty harmless, as we have some around our house too!
