Celebrating

Valentine floats and heart shaped pizza for my sweeties...the floats were delicious! 

Raspberry frozen yogurt, Cherry 7up, and Red Vines straws.

 

I spent the next day in the cities with my friend, Jess, shopping, chatting, and having lunch.  It was a great "pre-game" day since the BIG ONE was upon me!

 

Yes, I made it to 40, and I don't feel a bit different.  I do think things are sagging a bit more, but it's probably been that way for a while, and I was just in denial!

I had breakfast of my choice at home, met my friend, Missy, for lunch (which included surprise joiners!), and ended the day with Famous Dave's for dinner, games, and fun with our friends, Becca and Joe.

Becca made me the awesome cupcake bouquet which was pretty AND delicious.

My parents bought me this beautiful necklace since turing 40 meant that I should have something special. :) I think it's hard for them to believe they have a 40 year old daughter, as much as it's hard to believe that I'm 40. 

They say you're as old as you feel, so in those terms I'm about 27! :)

Here's to 40 more fun and healthy years ahead...
